Even though Fenyx Rising relies on Ubisoft’s AnvilNext 2.0 engine, which we already saw in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it does not look as stunning as other Ubisoft games based on this engine.
However, this might not be entirely unwanted in some quarters, because poorer visuals mean lower system requirements. Moreover, thanks to the comic book style, the game does not need high-end visuals to look good. Saturated colours, pretty effects, and strong contours make Fenyx Rising appear impressive, despite the fact that some textures in the game look quite muddy.
