Honor MagicBook 15 laptop in review: Inexpensive and powerful

With the update to the next higher processor generation, the Honor MagicBook 15 delivers significantly better performance. Since the case has remained untouched, the high-quality workmanship with solid materials and the good input devices are still available. There are also some other smaller improvements like the slightly higher display values and the much longer battery life, for example.

The Honor MagicBook delivers even better performance with the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, but it retains old strengths as well as weaknesses aside from that.

However, shortcomings that we had already seen in the predecessor model also remain. In this way, the WLAN remains at the Wi-Fi 5 standard, and we still have to do without a memory card reader. In addition, the webcam still faces the user from the unfavorable worm’s-eye view perspective in the keyboard. If these points don’t bother you that much, the Honor MagicBook 15 is a good choice, not least because of its low price too.
