While the colour space coverage (56 % of sRGB; 35 % of AdobeRGB) is on a normal level for such a device, the contrast ratio of 566:1 is very low. The black value of 0.41 cd/m² is also quite elevated.
In everyday use, the colours look washed-out and the blacks appear greyish. Moreover, the colours also look very muddy, which is why it is hard to tell them apart. Even reading text on this screen is difficult, because transitions between colours are so poorly defined. What is more, our CalMAN analysis shows that the screen suffers from a bluish cast.
The Lenovo V15 is usable outdoors, as long as it is located in a shaded area. The TN panel does not offer wide viewing angles. At acute angles, the colours become distorted and the brightness drops.
