World’s ‘most-selling’ Android smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A51, has just got cheaper in India. The 8GB RAM variant of the device has received a price cut of Rs 1,000. Launched in May at Rs 27,999, the smartphone can now be purchased at Rs 26,999. Incidentally, 6GB RAM of Galaxy A51 has not seen a price cut. It is available at Rs 25,250.
For those wondering about the ‘most-popular’ Android phone tag, Samsung Galaxy A51 was the best-selling Android smartphone in the world during the first quarter of 2020 as per a report by Strategy Analytics. The smartphone is said to be particularly popular in Europe and Asia.

Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 1080x2400p resolution.
Powered by octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, the device houses a 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of internet usage time. For imaging duties, the Galaxy A51 has a 32MP camera in a punch-hole design on the front and a quad-camera setup on the back that includes a 48MP (f/2.0 aperture) sensor, 12MP (f/2.2 aperture) sensor, 5MP (f/2.4 aperture) sensor, 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) sensor.
The smartphone offers dual-SIM support with a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options on the handset include USB Type-C, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth v5.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.
