We’ve gone on and on about how much we love AirPods Pro in the year since they launched. The high-end version of Apple’s regular wireless earbuds comes with the latest H1 wireless chip, which means Bluetooth 5.0. Headphones with the Apple H1 chip offer faster, more robust connections than the original AirPods. (The second-gen “regular” AirPods come with the H1, too, as do some Beats models.)
The chip brings a noticeable upgrade from the originals. But AirPods Pro also come with an updated design that’s less likely to look dorky if you don’t position them precisely in your earholes.
AirPods Pro also add the aforementioned noise cancellation, adaptive EQ and a measure of sweat- and water-resistance. Plus, they come with flexible silicone ear tips for a better fit. And they arrive with a wireless charging case (which is a $40 upgrade option for regular AirPods).

AirPods Pro list for $249, but we’ve regularly seen them dip below the $200 mark lately. Today’s sale squeaks past the previous best price of $194. Yeah, yeah, at $189.99, it’s only an additional $4 savings, but every little bit counts, right?
